It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Jeanette O'Loughlin of Independence, Iowa, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Carl and Henrietta Mae Brockmeyer (Gibbs); her husband Daniel Edward O'Loughlin; her sisters, Evelyn Totman, Betty Kenneally, Beverly Rankin and Karen Lee Brockmeyer; and her niece Lynn Zern (Brockmeyer).

She is survived by: her uncle Leonard Gibbs; her children, Daniel Edward II O'Loughlin (Patti) of Anthen, AZ, Vincent O'Loughlin (Pam) of Independence, Christopher O'Loughlin of Independence, Janice Budzine (Gene) of Independence, Mark O'Loughlin (Elsa) of Santee, CA, Brian O'Loughlin (Karen) of Kelley, IA, Jane Priebe (Stan) of Independence, Joan O'Loughlin-Good (Dan) of Rowley and Matthew O'Loughlin (Ron) of Independence; her brother Ronald Brockmeyer of Marshalltown; and her sisters-in-law, Ann O'Loughlin of Independence and Dorothy O'Loughlin of Port Lucie. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be directed to St. Johns Church or Camp Courageous.
