She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Johnston and Ruth Johnston (Peyton); her husband Jack Franck; her great grandchild Tanner Franck; her siblings, Betty Cannon and George Johnston; and her brothers-in-law, Spencer Burrell, Kenneth Gericke and John Cannon.

She is survived by: her sons, Tracy Franck (Kelly) of Winthrop, IA and Terry Franck (Carla) of Winthrop, IA; her grandchildren, Austen Franck (Kayla) of Independence, IA, Lindsey Fuessley (Barry) of Walker, IA, Evan, Tyler Franck (Danielle) of Independence, IA, Colleen Franck of Independence, IA and Trevor Franck (Kinzlee) of Tiffin, IA; her sister Yvonna Gericke of Quasqueton, IA; and her siblings-in-law, JoAnn Johnston of Independence, IA, Patsy Burrell of Center Point, IA, Richard "Dick" Franck (Alice) of Quasqueton, IA, Gary Franck (Cathy) of Center Point, IA and Dennis Franck (Patricia) of Independence, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and numerous. close friends.
