He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Demuth and Cleone Demuth of Jesup, Iowa.; his parents-in-law, Eric and Ruth Southgate; his siblings, Tony, David Demuth and Rose Irlbeck; and his brother-in-law Frank Tarasi.
He is survived by: his wife Meriel Southgate; his son Ben Demuth (Lori); his grandchildren, Reece, Brooke of Eagle Grove and Robert "Harv" Demuth (Jodi); his great grandchildren, Bryce and Marryn of Osage; his daughter Katie Herzog (Bill) of Lakeside; his grandchildren, Nick (Sam), Natalie and Ethan Baack; his siblings, Barb Sharp, Marilyn Schulte (Lynn), Ruth Demuth, Theresa Myers (Mike), Sue Tarasi, Pat Glassell (Randy), Fritz Demuth (Marge) and Ron Demuth (Sylvia); and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Demuth and Ed Irlbeck. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Those in attendance are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
