She was predeceased by: her parents, William Martz and Fern Martz. She is survived by: her husband Harold W. Purdy; her children, Dianna Bass of New Hartford, Deb Martin (Curt) of Independence, Iowa and Roger Purdy (Rose) of Tyler, Texas; and her brother Larry Martz (Janet) of Muscatine. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Camp Courageous.
