He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael McClintock and Minnie McClintock. He is survived by: his wife Sandra McClintock of Independence; his children, Robb McClintock (Jennifer) of Perry and Anne Meyer (Damien) of Scottsdale, Arizona; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Nile McClintock, Sierra Stratton (Frank Opoku-Brenyah), Hannah and Isaac Meyer; his great grandchild Virginia Brenyah; his brothers, Paul (Denise) of Dover and Mick McClintock of Urbandale; and his nephews, Michael McClintock (Deb Pitman-McClintock) and Mark McClintock (Deb).

A rosary was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 1:45 PM at the Reiff Family Center - Independence (216 3rd Ave SE, Independence, IA 50644). Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (209 5th Ave NE, Independence, IA 50644).
