In the sacred silence of farewell, Evelyn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Evelyn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Charles Locke and Ruby Gertrude Locke (Henderson); and her siblings, Lois Locke, Betty Locke and David Locke.
She is survived by: her brother Raymond Locke of Waverly, IA..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the White Funeral Home (400 1st St W, Independence, IA 50644). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oakland Cemetery.
