It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Wubben (Independence, Iowa), born in Buffalo Center, Iowa, who passed away on July 15, 2018, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wubben and Wilma DeWaard; his stepfather Garret DeWaard; and his brother Russell G. Wubben. He is survived by: his wife Christa Wubben; and his children, Tanya Greiner (John) of Independence, IA, Samantha Stelter, Jared Wubben and Erica Wubben. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and his faithful companion.
