Benter (Independence, Iowa), born in Manchester, Iowa, who passed away on October 31, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Benter and Beatrice Fern Benter (McFarland); and his stepfather Ray Capehart. He is survived by: his wife Coletta; his sons, David Benter (Bobbie) and Dean Benter of Valley City; his stepdaughters, Bobbie Benter (David) of Cresco, Tina Martin (Dave) of Independence and Theresa Buchholz of Toledo; his daughter Pam Brahn (Jim) of Nashua, Iowa.; and his sister Carol Cannon of Liberal, Missouri.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
