He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon James Scott and Merle Adele Scott (Sly); his siblings, Ronald Scott and Shirlee Rasmussen; his nephews, Kurt Scott, Tony Dodge and Jonathan Dodge; his niece Traci Rasmussen; and also, Bernice Dodge, Jim Dodge (Carole) and Jerry Dodge.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Scott of Independence; his children, Debbie Sorensen (Bruce) of Castle Rock, CO and Jeff Scott (Delora) of Florence, SC; his grandchildren, Aaron Scott (Jenna), Josh Scott (Chrissy), Jenna Scott, Brad Sorensen (Amber), Nathan Sorensen (Haley), Issac Sorensen and Timmy Sorensen; his great grandchildren, Maverick, Charlie, Grayson, Whitman, Cora Scott, Jamison, David and Colt Sorensen; his sister-in-law Sandra Scott of Washington, IA; and also, Johnny Dodge (Nancy) of Independence and Joyce Rasmussen (Herb) of Marion, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
