He is survived by: his wife Kelley Doyle of Independence, IA; his sons, James Hocken (Candace) of Independence, IA and Jonathan Hocken (Nikki) of Independence, IA; his grandchildren, Huxley, Hollis, Aleaha, Kaelyn and Jordan; and his sister Brenda Peyman of Independence, IA. He is also survived by four nieces, a nephew, and many lifelong friends.
