He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Dennis, Jr. Gilson (Molly) of Ankeny, IA, Daniel Gilson (Tasha) of Independence, IA and Darci Gilson-Starz (Shawnee) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, Jordan, Dustin, Myles, Kendall, Hannah, Jace and Jack; and his great grandchild Brooklyn.
