He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Lee and Margaret Marie Walton (Steinberg); and his son Timothy. He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his children, Cindy Vogel (Tim) of Waterloo, Becky Nisius (Tom) of Waverly, Brenda Stuhrenburg (Marvin) of Mt. Auburn, Kim Moore (Ron) of Webster City, Theresa Walton of St. Ansgar and Delmar R. Walton, Jr. (Dianne) of Quasqueton; his stepchildren, Sherrie Prall (Erick) of Kemp, Colleen Weikel (Loren) of Wasilla, Connie Moore (Jim) of Cody, Lain Slife, Sr. (Angie) of Independence and Jerry Slife of Winthrop; and his sister Linda Walton Blanc of Tucson. He is also survived by 15 step grandchildren, 13 step great grandchildren, 2 step great great grandchildren.
