David L. Ciesielski Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2024, David L. Ciesielski (Independence, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe A. Ciesielski and Lorraine Marie Ciesielski (Byron); his wife Darlene Joyce McAtee; his son Timothy Ciesielski; his siblings, William Ciesielski and Joyce Ciesielski; and his sister-in-law Sally Ciesielski.
He is survived by: his children, Joan Lynch (David) of Independence, Melissa Fowlkes (Joe) of Independence, Jennifer Miller (Mike) of Wayland, IA, Joseph Ciesielski (Karen) of Independence and Dalton Ciesielski of Waterloo, IA; his brothers, Robert Ciesielski of Independence, Thomas Ciesielski (Sharon) of Independence and Leo "Pete" Ciesielski (Liola) of Independence; and his sister-in-law Beverly Ciesielski of Independence. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
David enjoyed attending mass at the area catholic churches, so memorials will be directed to, St. John – Independence, St. Athanasius – Jesup, and St. Patrick – Winthrop as well as the Independence Knights of Columbus.
