We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2024, at the age of 64, Cynthia Louise Drafahl of Independence, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donna Hoaglan and Cato Hoaglan; and her daughter Emily. She is survived by: her son Jesse L. Drafahl of Oelwein; and her sisters, Cristina L. Leonard (Paul A.) of Iowa City and Jamie J. Hoaglan of Independence. She is also survived by her family and friends.

She loved making jewelry to sell for charity fundraising events, fossil hunting, working on her denim embroidery projects, enjoying the outdoors, and exploring Backbone State Park.
