It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Anderson (Independence, Iowa), born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on July 8, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian H. and Ellamina Dausener (Meyer); her husband Russell Anderson; her children, Ted Anderson and Judi Christensen (Dean); and her sister Shirley Scheffert.

She is survived by: her son Scott Anderson (Joyce) of Brandon, IA; and her daughter-in-law Bonnie Jean Anderson. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
