Greiner of Independence, Iowa, born in Petersburg, Nebraska, who passed away on December 31, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Anthony Koch and Hildagard Olivia Koch (Klein); her husband Joe; her daughter Elizabeth Ann Greiner; her brothers, Walter Koch and Robert Koch; her daughter-in-law Michele Greiner; her brother-in-law Lester "Joe" Fleming; her nephews, Ron Koch, Tom Koch and Terry Koch; and her niece Annette Herd.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Greiner (Julie Thomas) of Fairfield, IA, Tim Greiner (Ruth) of Milford, KS, Beth Ward (Geoff) of Fairfield, IA, Amy Jimmerson (Kevin) of Independence, IA and John Greiner (Tanya) of Independence, IA; her grandchildren, Alex Greiner (Toni), Kara Farley (Mike), Alyssa Bartholomew, Avary Bartholomew, Bart Greiner (Trista), Lauren Ward, Garrett Ward, Grant Ward, Briana Hayward (Cameron), Megan Jimmerson, Lauren Jimmerson (Sam Rode), Mandi West (Logan), Zach Jimmerson, Elle Greiner, Sarah Greiner and Claire Greiner; her great grandchildren, Genevieve Farley, Tyson Greiner, Jace Greiner and Emmerson Hayward; and her sister Donna Fleming of Volga, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be directed to the church; Cedar Valley Hospice; Alzheimer's Association; and for Parkinson's Disease research.
