Audrey L. Kress Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey L. Kress of Independence, Iowa, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Willard Buckingham and Margaret Lena Buckingham (Gipe); her stepfather Clarence Christian Kress (Audrey); her husband Leo Duane Kress; her son Duane Kress; her grandson Gordon Bergeson; her siblings, Albert Buckingham, Harold Buckingham, Leslie Buckingham, Maude Ghere, Gladys Cornwell and Lois Thompson; and her son-in-law James Manson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Manson of Quasqueton, IA, Gloria Bockman (Leon) of Decorah, IA and Cyndi Bergeson (Rick) of Independence, IA; and also, Lori Cleveland of Independence, IA and Maye Kress of Cedar Rapids, IA.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; her late son's.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family and Cedar Valley Hospice.
