Nelson (Independence, Iowa), born in Taylor Ridge, Illinois, who passed away on November 5, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Geereart and Janette Geereart (Vande Voorde); her son Lee D. Nelson; and her sister Lorraine Stempfle. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nichole of Independence, Cory of Independence, Derek of Independence, Shelly of Independence, John Bagge of Independence, Brenda Greiner of Independence and Rick Greiner of Independence.
