He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Rose Owens (Duehr); and his siblings, Anna Rose, Margaret, Louise, John J., Donald, Kenny, Paul and Eugene.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Laughlin of Patrick's Catholic Church; his children, Richard (Linda), Lu Ann (Mike Pribyl), Rose (Roger Dailey), Kent (Sherry), Cheri (Kris Delehant), Marty (Karla), Dean (Kerry) and Larry (Heather); and his sister-in-law Joyce Owens.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (304 3rd St, Imogene, IA 51645). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for designation.
