She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman Richard and Clara Alberta Torpy (Slater); her husband Jody McGargill; her siblings, Margaret, Viola, Lucy and John; and her grandson Sean.
She is survived by: her children, Michael McGargill (Linda), Mary Ann Allen (Cathy Eastwood), Janette McGargill (Beth McGargill), Patty McGargill, Carolyn Foster (Gregg) and Jackie Talty (Nancy Rulon). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
