He is survived by: his wife Clara Bennigsdorf of Ida Grove, IA; his children, Vickie Woolridge, Kevin Bennigsdorf (Christine) of Cherokee, IA, Keith Bennigsdorf (Lorie) of Storm Lake, IA and Candy Reitz (Henry) of Battle Creek, IA; his grandchildren, Josh Woolridge (Kristen), Noelle Woolridge, Kurtis Lee Bennigsdorf (Megan), Zachary Bennigsdorf, Nicholas Bennigsdorf (Maggie), Hanna Witt (Taylor), Amanda Preston (Andy), Tanner Russell Mefferd (Riley), Sarah Preston (Brett) and Deryl Johnson; his great grandchildren, Libby, Grant Van Houten, Samantha, Steven Woolridge, Nathan Russell and Lauren Rae Bennigsdorf; and his siblings, Vern Bennigsdorf (Edith) of Montrose, CO, Darrell Bennigsdorf of Ida Grove, IA, Lonnie Bennigsdorf (Marva) of Battle Creek, IA and Carol Miller of Earlham, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (100 7th St, Ida Grove, IA 51445). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Ida Grove, Iowa (100 7th St, Ida Grove, IA 51445).
