He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Holmes and Gertrude Holmes; his wife Frances Kimberly Nuckolls; his children, Kyle (Nicole), Catryna (Bill), Aaron (Heather) and Amanda (Larry); his grandchildren, Hailey, Kimmie, Paige, Jarrod, Chad, Andrew, Emma, Blake, Alli, Alex and Nicholas; his great grandchild Emberly; and his siblings, Lavone, Lloyd, Lois, Leroy, Loretta, Leonard and Larry.
