He is survived by: his children, Melanie Eason (Terry) of Battle Creek, IA, Kim Smith (Rick) of Altoona, IA and Larry Johnk (Kasey) of Ida Grove, IA; his grandchildren, Thad Eason (Dawn), Evan Eason (Sarah), Gabe Eason, Seth Eason (Haleigh), Michael Eason, Patrick Eason, Derek Smith, Shawn Smith, Sarah Lomholt (Cody), Chelsey Johnk, Butch Ehrig (Kandi), Chris Ehrig, Deandra Woebke and Devon Corbin; and his great grandchildren, Sierra, Blaise, Gavin Eason, Sydney Eason, Wyatt Eason, Eisley Smith, Addison, McKenzie, Weston Lomholt, Nathan, Zach and Dylan Ehrig.
