He was predeceased by: his parents, James Grap and Viola Grap (Dobernecker); his son Dean Grap; his brothers, Edward Grap (Ardith) and Delmar Grap; and his sister-in-law Becky Grap.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Grap of Ida Grove, IA; his children, John Grap of Denison, IA and Ruth Bennett (Tony) of Ida Grove, IA; his grandchildren, James Grap of Plattsmouth, NE, Thomas Grap (Xeng) of Denison, IA, Christine James (Eric) of Sioux City, IA, Amy Bennett of Sioux City, IA and Mary Bennett of Sioux City, IA; his siblings, Arnold Grap, Gary Grap, Wayne Grap, Darrell Grap, Shirley Lewis (Tom), Linda Goss and Marlene Fager (Darwin); and his sister-in-law Lou Ann Grap. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
