He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Schonhorst and Mary Anne Schonhorst (Racek); and his grandparents, George, Gladys Schonhorst (Croft), Valentine and Martha Racek (Kalsem).
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Carole Cheddie (Shri) of Lehigh Acres, FL and Rosemary Ambroson (Greg) of Azle, TX; his nephew Nehru Cheddie (Karisa); his nieces, Ananda Lawson (Don) and Randa Hickman (Christopher); his aunt Ruth Lee (Racek); and his cousins, Nancy Farndale (Michael), Phil Lee (Jane), Dan Lee (Lennice), Paul Lee (Jeanne), Larry Gray (Vicki), John Gray (Janet) and Carroll Racek.
