Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Owen John Kalsem of Huxley, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 92, on July 2, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Kalsem and Marguerite JaVerne Kalsem (Ersland); and his wife Ann Ellen Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Oren Jeffrey, John Clinton, Jeff Kalsem of Huxley, Sharon Guilinger (Joe) of Thomson, IL, Karen Davis (Scott) of Stuart, IA and Clint Kalsem of Huxley; his grandchildren, Nicole Van Houten (Nick), Hayley Guilinger, Hannah Guilinger and Trevor Kalsem; and his brother David Kalsem (Cheryl) of Huxley. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Fjeldberg Lutheran Church or the Story County 4-H Foundation.
