With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas M. Heins (Huxley, Iowa), who passed away on July 15, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Doug; his siblings, Sterling Heins and Hollys Heins Heer; his wife Helen Marie Hummel; his nieces and nephews, Jacki Kirkland, Rex Heer, John Mark Heer (Sally), Michele Strub-Heer (Jordan) and Kirk Heer (Donna); his children, Karl Lantz and Kristina Lantz (Nick Behrens); his sister-in-law Petra Larsen Heins; and also Eric Lantz. He was also cherished by his sons and wife.
Memorials may be given to Trinity United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
