She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cromwell and Pearl Cromwell (McCool); her husband Jim of Polk City, IA; her daughter-in-law Dawn Henderson; and her siblings, William, Jr., Gordon, Shirley Montgomery, Wynona Pearl and Galen Gene.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Kalton (Bob) of Merrifield, MN, Vicki Ruggles (Bob) of Dayton, IA, Chris Douglas of Seaside, OR and Dan Henderson of Urbandale; her grandchildren, Ben Ruggles (Jamie), Nick Ruggles (Lisa), Clint Ruggles (Jenny), Janelle Hallin (Shawn), Kim Fern (Jeff), Isabelle Douglas and Isaac Douglas; her great grandchildren, Meghan Heusner (Chris), Kole Erixon, Austyn Smith (Jayde), Chase Smith, Sam Ruggles, Alice Ruggles, Thomas Ruggles, Jourdan Tarr, Landin Hallin, Harlow Hallin, Halle Hallin, Weston Fern and Aubrey Fern; and her great great grandchildren, Everly Smith, Elliot Smith and Maddox Biteler. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Slater Baptist Church (601 Story St, Slater, IA 50244). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Slater Baptist Church.
