He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Bowyer and Frances Bowyer (Hopwood); and his brother Don. He is survived by: his wife Susan Bowyer; his children, Heidi LoRash of Huxley, Kerri Byl (Jeff) and Ryen William Craig Bowyer of Huxley; his grandchildren, Logan Byl (Brooke), Ben LoRash-Neuenschwander, Dylan LoRash-Neuenschwander, Larissa Byl, Kailee Styron, Sophia Bowyer and Nathan Bowyer; his siblings, Dean Bowyer (Cheri) of Sioux Falls, Marilyn Dohman and Marcia Erickson; and his pet Zoey.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fjeldberg Lutheran Church (209 N 2nd Ave, Huxley, IA 50124). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
