It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geni Marie McCarty of Humeston, Iowa, who passed away on September 17, 2022, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Bob McCarty; and her grandparents, Ila Yates, Howard and Jean McCarty. She is survived by: her mother Linda McCarty; her children, Britni McCarty and Jake Ogden; her sister Stephanie Jones; her nephews, Tanner, Corbin and Logan Jones; her aunts and uncles, John, Jeralee McCarty and Donna Stevenson Hurd (Jim); her grandfather Charlie Yates; and her close friend Tom Walkup.
