She was predeceased by: her parents, Mel Koons and Mamie Koons (Howsare); and her son Allen Paxton. She is survived by: her husband James Paxton of Humeston; her sons, James David Paxton (April) of Des Moines and Donald Dean Paxton (Denise) of Carlisle; and her grandchildren, Kenny Paxton (Lexi), Tony Paxton, Morgan Paxton (Grace), Kasey Paxton-Hayes and Shae Lynch (Colby). She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
