He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Paugh and Helen Paugh (Burley); his siblings, Karen Gillman (Lyle), Stephen Paugh and Kathleen; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Carlton and Karen McCombs (Lee).
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Paugh of Humeston; his children, Carie, Troy Steinhausen of Russell, Iowa, Christy, Brian Van Brocklin of Polk City, Iowa, Dave and Erin Paugh of Indianola, Iowa; his grandchildren, Trevor, Gracie, Caden, Zach Steinhausen, Cole, Luke, Carter Van Brocklin, Josephine, Brooks and Amelia Paugh; his great grandchild Stella Grace Steinhausen; and his sisters-in-law, Carla Paugh of Humeston and Phyllis Carlton of Humeston.
Memorial donations will be given for benefit the Humeston Community. Memorials will go to Humeston Community Entities, including the following: Humeston Fire Department, Humeston Community Center, Museum Depot, Humeston Golf Course, and the Humeston Swimming Pool; or donate to the Humeston First Baptist Church in Carlos's memory.
