It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Detrick of Humboldt, Iowa, born in Algona, Iowa, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Detrick and Catherine Detrick (Stein); his wife Barbara J. Smith; his son Terry Detrick; and his siblings, Bob Detrick and Marge Van Dyke.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Van Dorin (Aaron) of Paducah, KY, Thomas Detrick (Julie) of Humboldt and Pamela Conlon (Roger) of Humboldt; and his sister Bette Kern (Frank) of Algona.
