She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wittman and Blanche Wittman (Stevenson); her husband Jack; her son Tom; and her siblings, Wayne, Jean and Bobbie.
She is survived by: her children, Polly Nilles of Humboldt, Pat Laing (Mark) of Humboldt and Doug Nilles of Humboldt; her grandchildren, Candy, Mike, Bob (Wendy), Stacy (Joe), Candi, Nick (Amber) and Megan (Dylan); and her sisters-in-law, Joan Wittman of St. Paul, Mary Buckner of Branson, Barb Sawyer of Humboldt, Clarine Abeita (Frank) of Los Lunas and Eva Cafferty (Jack) of Mauston, Wisconsin.. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
A reception was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service (612 2nd Ave S, Humboldt, IA 50548).
