With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon L. Reed of Humboldt, Iowa, born in Rushville, Illinois, who passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dunn and JoAnn Dunn (Riggs); her husband Stanley; and her brother Charles. She is survived by: her children, Beth Jeannette (Harold) of Humboldt, Charles Reed (Leeria) of Humboldt and Matthew Reed (Kim) of Waterloo; her stepchildren, Paula Rojas of Humboldt and Brian Reed; and her grandchildren, Mary, Saige, Michael, Tammy, Ariaunna, Oliver, Kathryn, Samuel, Corey, Amanda, Nicole and Terry. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Congregational United Church of Christ. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM at the Indian Mound Cemetery (2495 Gotch Park Rd, Humboldt, IA 50548). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 3:15 PM at the same location.
