She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Nielsen and Bettie Nielsen (Huebsch). She is survived by: her husband Gary W. Kuehnast of Humboldt; her children, Eric Kuehnast (Christina) of Kansas City and Kristin Kuehnast of Kansas City; her grandchildren, Briana and Brayden; and her sisters, Deborah Cher of Fort Dodge and Susie Fritz (Mark) of Fort Dodge.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service (612 2nd Ave S, Humboldt, IA 50548). A prayer was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1005 11th Ave N, Humboldt, IA 50548).
In lieu of flowers, due to her love for animals, memorials may be made to the Moffitt Animal Shelter in Humboldt.
