He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Mullinix and Madonna Mullinix (Hoffey); and his siblings, Marsha, Rob and Ronnie.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie of Humboldt; and his children, Debbie Landwehr of Houton, Terry Mullinix (Sarah) of Zimmermann, Toni Flores of Sioux Falls, Timothy Edgar of Bozeman, Montana, Jennifer Reed (Ben) of Sioux Falls and Keny Hitzemann of Ames. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
