He is survived by: his wife Verna Lee Wittman of Humboldt; his children, Polly Nilles of Humboldt, Pat Laing (Mark) of Humboldt and Doug Nilles of Humboldt; his grandchildren, Candy, Mike, Bob (Wendy), Stacy (Joe), Candi, Nick (Amber) and Megan; his sisters, Mary Buckner (Chet) of Branson, Barb Sawyer of Humboldt, Clarine Abeita (Frank) of Los Lunas and Eva Cafferty (Jack) of Mauston; and his sister-in-law Joan Wittman of St. Paul, Minnesota.. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
