With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James P. Helvick (Humboldt, Iowa), who passed away on July 6, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Helvick and Josephine Helvick (Michaelson); his siblings, Joyce Jordanger (Duane), Clayton (Benita) and Malcolm Helvick; his nephew Scott Helvick; his niece Joni Helvick; and his great-niece Alayna Decker.

He is survived by: his sisters, Gloria Westaby (Marlo) of Madrid and Diane Lehman (Wayne) of Badger; and his sister-in-law Neva Helvick of Humboldt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
