He is survived by: his wife Nanette M. Erickson of Humboldt; his children, James B. Thoden of Madison, Kurt Thoden of Humboldt and Lynne Robertson (Shane) of Urbandale; his grandchildren, Candice, Craig, Nate and Taryn; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Cadence; and his sister Gayle Fokken (Dave) of Humboldt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
