Evelyn Pedersen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2023, at the age of 87, Evelyn Pedersen of Humboldt, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Straw and Eva Straw (Hanslip); her husband Darwin Pedersen; her siblings, Rex, Ray Straw and Waunita Kirkpatrick; her sister-in-law Charlotte Straw; her niece Kelly Meek; her foster parents, Walt Pedersen and Marie Pedersen; her brothers, Irvin (Mary Ann Pedersen) and Gerald (Carla Pedersen); and her brothers-in-law, Gene Pedersen, Jim Roat and Cal Kirkpatrick.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Uhlenkamp (Ed), Deb Meline (Scott) and Dennis; her grandchildren, Danielle Bright, Angela Uhlenkamp (Donald Leget, Jr.), Derek Meline (Nicole Vanourek) and Brett Meline; her siblings, Shirley Straw, Pat Straw, Dorothy Meek (Carroll), Roy Straw, Jan Roat, Eugene Pedersen and Mike Pedersen (Pat); and her siblings-in-law, Myles Pedersen (Shirley) and Karen Pedersen.
Memorial contributions can be made to Upper Des Moines Opportunities – Humboldt County or to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Humboldt Iowa.
