He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Mersch and Anna Mersch (Buesch); his wife VaLane Pederson; his children, Michael Mersch (Linda), Nancy Orbaugh and Janine Shaull (Brad); his grandchildren, Sean, Lisa, Chad, Tina, Nicole and Adam; and his brothers, John Mersch (Marcy) and Nick Mersch. He was also cherished by eleven great-grandchildren.
