He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Clarken (Gilligan); his wife Donna Mae Gardner; his son-in-law Scott Clark; his grandson Cole Clarken; and his siblings, Alice Schroeder and Harold Clarken.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Clark of Fort Dodge, Lori Brundige (Rob) of Byron, Tom Clarken (Stephanie) of Stuart, Teresa Muller of Atlantic and Chris Clarken (Stacy) of Humboldt, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Jill, Zak, Nick, Sara, Josh, Matthew, Molly, Abigail, Jack, Colby and Tyce; his siblings, JoAnn Bormann of Livermore, Mike Clarken (Edith) of Estherville, Pat Clarken of Armstrong and Steve Clarken of Wilmington; and his sister-in-law Karen Schissel of Algona, Iowa.. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
