He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall R. Sexe and Violet V. Sexe (Swanson); and his siblings, Harlon and Sharon. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Burns of Humboldt; his children, Brian Sexe (Anne) of Estherville, Jeff Sexe (Jeanne) of Waterloo, Mike Sexe (Cherese) of Humboldt and Jill Siefken (Jon) of Manson; his grandchildren, Brad (Elissa), Danny (Courtney), Joseph, Jessica (Jordan), Jason (Kelsey), Nathan (Kiersten), Jordan (Rania), Marie (Tate), Sam, Austin, Zach and Matthew; and his brother Bob Sexe of Penrose, Colorado.. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humboldt Public Library or Zion Lutheran Church.
