She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Julius and Alta Julius (Ackley). She is survived by: her husband Howard A. Nelson of Humboldt; her children, Rick Nelson (Connie) of Humboldt, Susan Johnson (David) of Grand Prairie, Michael Nelson of Parker and Steven Nelson (Tiffany) of Dakota City; her grandchildren, Amy Nelson, Joshua Johnson (Courtney), Stephanie Cox (Tyler), Caleb Johnson (Emilee), Anna Gibson (Paul), Sarah Stewart (Alex), Rebekah Johnson, Micah Johnson (Angelica), Abigail Nations (Michael), Deborah Torres (Derrick), Josiah Johnson (Jill), Elisabeth Martinez (Gabriel), Chase Nelson, Cambry Nelson, Natalie Wurth and Conor Wurth; and her siblings, Jerry Julius of Fort Dodge, John Julius (Marian) of Milton and Rhonda Koestner of Ash Flat, Arkansas.. She is also survived by thirty-three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service (612 2nd Ave S, Humboldt, IA 50548). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Oak Hill Church (905 13th St SW, Humboldt, IA 50548).
