She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Bockoven and Ruby Bockoven (Hendrickson); her husband Lowell William Essing; her son Steven Essing; and her brothers, Jim Bockoven, Bruce Bockoven, Don Bockoven, Jeff Bockoven and Roger Bockoven.
She is survived by: her sons, David Essing (Lori Ann), Craig Essing and Mark Essing; her daughter-in-law Lori Ann Essing; and her siblings, Keith Bockoven (Erma) and Betty Summers (Gene). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rolling Hills Community Church (2891 N 15th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
