He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Bonestroo and Betty Bonestroo (Oldenkamp) of Hull; his wife Laura Kay Smit of Perkins; his children, Rebecca (Chad Baatz), Jodi (Jonathan Bruce), Tony (Jessica Bonestroo) of Hull and Tai (Xuan Dinh) of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Dylan, Hailey, Hannah, Cason, Tate Baatz, Jada, Justin, Joslyn, Jenae Bruce, Micah, Kohen, Maelyn Bonestroo and Kevin Dinh; his great grandchildren, Carter and Connor Baatz; his siblings, Lana (Roger Jacobsma), Kim (Tim Van Tilburg), Terry (Gayle Bonestroo) and Todd (Deb Bonestroo); his siblings-in-law, Dennis (Judy Smit) of Parker, Colorado and Deanne Hamlin (Bella) of Springfield, Minnesota; and also, Casey, Luella Smit, Carey Smit and Larry Smit.
