He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jongetjes and Cora Jongetjes (Post); his wife Audrey Berghorst; his daughter Angela Jongetjes; his brother Roger Jongetjes; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Van Voorst, Loren Vander Well and Alyna (Jack Kleinwolterink).

He is survived by: his daughters, Leah (Marlin Schoonhoven) of Sheldon and LaRae Bloemendaal of Sioux Center; his grandchildren, Alex, Tessa, Joseph Schoonhoven, Angela Bloemendaal (Tim Spaans) and Miranda Bloemendaal; his siblings, Joyce Van Voorst of Sioux Falls, Norman Jongetjes (Dorothy) of Sioux Falls, Allan Jongetjes (Dianne Trotter Gillum) of Frostproof, Florida and Clayton Jongetjes (Sheryl) of Escondido, California; and his sisters-in-law, Anna Vander Well of San Marcos and Arlene (Orville Van).
