Joyce G. Vander Well Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2022, at the age of 89, Joyce G. Vander Well of Hull, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit Pykeren and Dena Van Pykeren (Hubers); her former spouse Pier W. Wynia; her husband Walter Vernon Vander Well; her son David Wynia; her children-in-law, Lydia, Arthur De Boer, Wilma and Sam Altena; and also, Henry Wynia (Johanna), Loren Vander Well and Allen Vander Well.
She is survived by: her children, Kay (David Kroese), Lora (Brad Van Dyke), Kathy (Bill Bajema) and Dale (Joni Wynia) of Luverne, Minnesota; her daughter-in-law Crystal Wynia of Muskegon, Michigan; her stepchildren, Corinne Vander Well of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Glen Vander Well (Connie) of Holland, Michigan, Daryl Vander Well (Cindy) of Prinsburg, Minnesota, Bev Vander Well of Grand Rapids and Dee Vander Well of Orange City; her grandchildren, Joni Wynia, Jessica Van Maanen (Jonathan), Eric Kroese (Bobbie), Andrea Bajema, Daryl Wynia, Scott Kroese, Maria Van't Hul (DJ), Brady Van Dyke (Jessica), Alison Kroese and Jared Van Dyke (Glenna); her stepgrandchildren, Darin Vander Well (April), Lindsey Taatjes (Ted), Kyleigh Vander Well, Cassandra Vander Well (Seth Pegman), Kathy Field (Nate), Roger Ferris (Julie), Tony Ferris (Megan), Rodney Ferris (Loretta), Tim Ferris, Kristen Madrzejewski (Clint), Bethany Cumings (Chris) and Darlene Van Pykeren; her siblings-in-law, Anna Vander Well, Devin Vander Well and Lester (Evadean Vander Well); and also Gerard "Pike". She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 36 step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be given to the Western Christian High School in Hull.
