He was predeceased by: his parents, Rommert Werff and Theodora Vander Werff (Rodenburgh); his siblings, Esther Rozeboom, Duck Lokhorst, Bill Vander Werff (Gert), Tena Pollema (Bill), Grace Hartog (Cornie), Cornie Vander Werff (Stephenia), Ella Juffer (Albert), Wilma (Jim Jansma) and Bert Boogaard; and his brothers-in-law, Dick Rozeboom and Pete Lockhorst.
He is survived by: his children, Randall Vander Werff of Sanborn and Julie Farence of Sheldon, Iowa; his grandchildren, David John Farence of Sanborn and Joy Walker (Dawson); his great grandchild Edward Walker of Spencer, Iowa; and his brother-in-law Jim Boogaard of Hull, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
